Tego Calderon

O porto-riquenho Tego Calderon é um dos maiores expoentes do Reggaeton no mundo. O ritmo se caracteriza pela mistura do reggae com o rap, o nome Reggaeton surgiu da mistura de "reggae" com "maratón" (maratón é como os porto-riquenhos chamam o freestyle). Artistas como El General, Nando Boom, Chico Man, Rene Renegado, Black Apache, são considerados os DJs precursores do estilo e pais do reggaeton, já que misturavam reggae jamaicano com rítimos latinos. No entanto, quem criou as primeiras músicas essencialmente de reggaeton foi o rapper Vico C, que começou a fazer hip hop em seu país (Porto Rico), a partir dos anos 80, ele foi um dos responsáveis por tornar o reggaeton uma febre entre os jovens latinos.

Faz tempo que eu to devendo um post de Blues por aqui, então resolvi apresentar um blues diferente em todos os sentidos.
O saxofonista e tecladista Edgar Winter nasceu no Texas e começou a se apresentar desde menino ao lado de seu irmão também albino, o guitarrista Johnny Winter. Pra quem não sabe Johnny Winter produziu o álbum Hard Again de Muddy Waters de 1977. Sendo assim a família Winter dispensa comentários. Esses 2 discos do Edgar são muito bons, ele faz uma mistura de jazz com blues muito trabalhada e o resultado é um som muito sofisticado mas que não é chato de ouvir. Garanto que quem se interessar pelo som do cara vai enriquecer muito seu gosto musical. Então vamo deixar de preguiça e baixar os 2 discos pq o negócio é coisa fina.

Atendendo ao pedido do mano que deixou uma mensagem no post do Deftones segue aí o Mudvayne.



Em 1999 após 3 anos de estrada assinaram contrato com a Epic Records da Sony. Um ano mais tarde, o primeiro álbum da banda, L.D. 50 foi lançado. Mas ficaram realmente conhecidos quando se apresentaram no palco do Ozzfest em 2001. Muitas pessoas acham que o Mudvayne não passa de uma cópia do Slipknot pelo fato de tocarem maquiados e trocarem os nomes por códigos, mas sei lá... eu acho que eles tem uma certa peculiaridade em seu som. Eu prefiro o Slipknot mas Mudvayne tb é uma boa banda. Tirem suas próprias conclusões.
