Quem visita o Trabalho Mental já se ligou que eu sou São Paulino daqueles mais fanáticos e chatos, e assim como toda nação tricolor fiquei muito triste com a morte do Mestre Telê Santana. Ele que foi sem dúvida nenhuma o melhor técnico de todos que passaram pelo Morumbi, não só pelos títulos mas também pela preocupação com a vida dos jogadores que eram comandados por ele. Certa vez eu vi uma entrevista com o ex-jogador Palhinha em que ele disse que qdo jogava no São Paulo e estava no auge da carreira, chegou a comprar um carro desses importados que eu não me lembro agora qual era e o Telê qdo viu, fez ele trocar por um carro popular, pra que ele não perdesse a humildade.
Foi o melhor técnico do São Paulo e se marcar foi um dos melhores do mundo, pois como bem disse o Juca Kfouri: "Ah, o Telê não ganhou uma Copa do Mundo? Azar da Copa do Mundo, e não do Telê. A Copa do Mundo é que merecia ter o Telê como um dos treinadores que a conquistou"
Telê faleceu hoje em Belo Horizonte aos 74 anos mas no coração de todos os Sãopaulinos, Atleticanos, Fluminenses e todos que apreciam o futebol-arte ele será sempre ETERNO.
